Adventures of Little T

With all the many nice days we've had this past month we've taken advantaged by taking Toby to the park. He loves being outside, and hates these rainy days when he can't play outside. Here are a few photographs from our adventures outside.

I can do it all by myself!

Can I hug you? (She started crying after he tried)

 Daddy are you coming?
 There you are!!!
Time to go home

Are you coming outside with me?

 Yeah I'm adorable

What do you mean I need to go back inside to eat :(

Earlier this month Cousin London came and visited. It was a great visit, we all enjoyed playing together, and Toby wanted to take care of London in whatever way he could.

You want to play with this?

 Kisses
 Here's a puff!

Bye Bye
We stayed home sick from daycare one day last month with a virus. Daddy did his best to make T feel like he wasn't so sick. Could even say we felt like SuperT!
This is how I started my day feeling.
 But after some reading
 and just some running around.
This is how I ended my day feeling

Excitment all over

Lately we've been hearing lots of good news. My trip to the specialist this month resulted in what I would call a perfect ending. They no longer have concerns about my cervix, and my next appointment in a month is to check the growth of the baby, in other words a normal sonogram :) Speaking of the pregnancy, I've been able to feel baby move since week 17ish, but now baby spends most of the evening hours doing somersaults. Sometimes this makes me queasy, but boy do I enjoy that feeling again. It just gets me so excited. Heath too, last night I was laying on the couch and Heath could see the baby moving, he produced a smile from ear to ear.

Toby enjoys laying on mommy's tummy, I'm surprised he hasn't freaked out about any baby movement. He also enjoys giving the baby kisses. He has began his mommy attachment phase, it was extremely noticeable this weekend when cousin London came to visit. He wanted to share all his toys at first, but then she was getting mommy's attention when he wanted it. First temper tantrum we've had to deal with, as he's never had a real reason before. Poor toddler is teething as well, it feels like multiple molars and a couple other teeth are trying to break through which means lots of biting has been going on, and many timeout sessions. Surprising thing is for the most part he is his lovable self 99% of the time, even through the pain.

As I said earlier it is just an exicting time. The next exciting news I could hear would be that a majority of my students passed their KCAs.

Enjoying life.

House update

In the previous post I mention we had started the process of finding a house. We've been looking in the Basehor area as it more closely splits our drive. Actually Heath's will be about the same, but mine will be reduced from 50 minutes to 15. Which means I can take Toby, and Baby to daycare and Heath can leave for work early like he enjoys doing.

The first Saturday of February was our first day out with our realtor looking at houses. We saw 4 houses and really liked one, it was the most expensive one that day. We made plans to go out the next Saturday as well, to look at 4 - 5 more houses and revisit the one we liked. That entire week I couldn't stop thinking about the house. When we went and looked the next Saturday she took us to more expensive houses, but none of them had the feeling I got just walking into the house we saw the week before. I just couldn't wait to see the house again! We walked in and I experienced the same feeling. I felt at home, as I told Heath it is empty, but it feels like we belong. We stayed and walked around the house for a good 30 minutes to an hour. I started making my list of things that would need fixing before moving in.

Middle of that next week we called our realtor and told her we wanted to make an offer. The next day we made and signed the contracts. Of course with our luck it is a bank owned property and there were more hoops to jump through than normal. Needless to say Wednesday (February 28) they accepted our offer!!! Now all we have to do is have the inspection done and wait on the bank stuff to finish going through. Closing date, as long as the inspection goes well, is set for April 20th.

Here are some pictures, from the web. When we do the inspection I'll post more as these are not the best pictures. From these pictures Heath and I were not sure we'd like it, but we all know the end result.

These are some of the better pictures, the house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an office, laundry room, and basement family room. It has a nice size garage with plenty of storage space.
